Privacy policy

Sendero Translate (“the app”) translates the content of Shopify stores. This policy explains what data the app uses and why.

Data we access

Product and collection content (titles, descriptions and SEO fields), the store’s languages and existing translations. The app does not access customers, orders or payment data.

Data we store

The store’s domain, the access token Shopify grants on install, the languages chosen and the translation progress. Nothing else.

How it is used

Store content is sent to our translation provider only to produce the translations, which are saved back into the store through the Shopify API. It is not sold, shared for advertising or used for any other purpose.

Deletion

When the app is uninstalled, its access is revoked. All stored data for the store is deleted when Shopify sends the shop redaction request (48 hours after uninstall). Translations already saved in the store stay there and belong to the merchant.
